When RMI Expeditions guides are asked which gaiter they rely on, the answer is almost always the Outdoor Research Expedition Crocodile. Built for extreme conditions, these burly gaiters feature a large circumference to fit over plastic boots and bulky insulated pants. Reinforced Cordura® panels on the inner leg fend off crampon strikes and sharp rock, while the waterproof construction keeps snow and ice where they belong — outside. Season after season, they’ve proven themselves as the standard for serious mountaineering.
